Day 01: Arrival at Hyderabad
Your temples and caves tour of India will begin with your arrival at Hyderabad Airport. Our representative will receive guests at the airport from where they will be escorted to a hotel booked previously as planned under your Hyderabad itinerary for an over night stay. The rest of the day will be free for a short sightseeing tour of the city starting with a visit to the main landmark of the city Charminar. The city tour then will include visit to famous attractions of Hyderabad such as Salarjung Museum and some shopping areas for accumulating some mementos from this ‘City of Nawabs’ as it is popularly known as.
Day 02: At Hyderabad
The second day of your tour to temples and caves of India will begin with a sumptuous meal at the hotel. Thereafter drive to the famous fortress complex of India- the Golconda Fort. The day at Golconda fort will be spent exploring these ruins of this 13th century fortress. Thereafter drive back to the hotel where you will spend the rest of the night which will revitalize you for the journey ahead.
Day 03: Hyderabad- Chennai
The tour to Hyderabad will be concluded on this day as guests will be transferred to Airport. At Airport guests will be assisted by our representative who will make all the arrangements for their comfortable journey to next destination Chennai. At Chennai Airport escorted by our representative guests will be transferred to a hotel for an overnight stay. The rest of the day will provide a visit to the heritage center of Chennai- Dakshin Chitra.
Day 04: Mahabalipuram- Kanchipuram
This day of your Hyderabad itinerary will begin with a voyage to Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram. Post breakfast the day will be devoted to a full day sightseeing excursion of both the cities. The city tour will begin with a visit to the exquisite temples such as Kaliasanatha Temple, Vaikunta Temple, Sri Ekambaranathar Temple and Kamakshi Amman Temple etc. Later visit the famous sightseeing places of Mahabalipuram including Arjuna’s Penance and Varaha Caves. Guests then will return to Chennai for an overnight stay in the hotel booked previously by our tour operator in Hyderabad.
Day 05: Kanchipuram- Mysore
On this day guests will proceed to Chennai Railway Station in the morning from where they will board the train to Mysore. At their arrival our representative will assist them and escorting them to a hotel for an overnight stay in the city.
Day 06: Mysore- Belur- Halebid
On this day guests will be served a sumptuous meal in the morning at their hotel which will be followed by full day excursion of the nearby tourist attractions. Guests will be escorted to Belur for a visit of the famous Chennakesava Temple a picturesque example of Hoysala style. Thereafter proceed to the temple devoted to Lord Shiva at Halebid, this temple is endowed with carved friezes. The eventful day will be concluded with a drive back to the hotel at Mysore where guests will lodge for the night.
Day 07: At Mysore
At Mysore this day of your temples and caves tour of India will provide a whole day for sightseeing tour of the cultural hub of South Indian art and music at Mysore. Post breakfast guests will proceed for a drive to visit the exquisite Maharaja Palace followed by a visit to admire great collection of art at Art Gallery. Later visit Chamundi Hills to witness the splendid Chamundeshwari Temple and Nandi Bull. Thereafter guests will return back to their hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 08: Mysore- Hassan
This day will conclude this Mysore tour as guests will traverse to the next destination- Hassan. The drive will be held post breakfast during which guests will also pay an en- route visit to Sravanbelgola to watch the thousand years old monolithic statue. The journey will lead guests to Hassan at the hotel where they will rest for the night.
Day 09: Hassan- Bangalore
This temples and caves tour of India will then lead guests to their next destination Bangalore. This journey will also provide an opportunity to visit Srirangapatna famous for the Tippu’s Dariyadaulat, Gol Gumbaz and the Nimishambha temples. At Bangalore guests will be accommodated in the hotel previously booked by our tour operator in Hyderabad for an overnight stay.
Day 10: Bangalore- Mumbai- Departure
On the final day of your temples and caves tour of India you will be provided an opportunity to explore main tourist attractions of Bangalore. The half day sightseeing tour of the city will include a visit to Bangalore Palace, Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace and Bull Temple. In the evening our representative will escort guests to the Airport from where they will board the flight to Mumbai. At Mumbai a connecting flight will thereafter will traverse them back to home.
