Destination:   Hyderabad- Nagarjunasagar- Vijayawada- Departure

Day 01: Arrival at Hyderabad

The city of Hyderabad is well known for its numerous spectacular lakes and hence, this Lake City tour will be planned to serve the spectacular vistas of these lakes and other sightseeing places in the city and its adjoining areas.  Your Lake City tour will be planned to begin with the arrival of the guests at Hyderabad Airport where our representative will receive guests.  At the city guests will be escorted to the hotel booked previously under your Hyderabad itinerary for an overnight stay. 

Day 02: At Hyderabad

The second day will be marked for a full day sightseeing tour of Hyderabad.  Post breakfast guests will be escorted to famous attractions in Hyderabad beginning first with the visit to the Alukuma Palace followed by a visit to Salar Jung Museum and Charminar- the main landmark of the city.  Afternoon will be attributed to a visit to Anandha Vihara- a picturesque modern temple dedicated to Lord Budha and inaugurated by Dalai Lama himself is well known for its grand monolith statue of Lord Buddha.  Guests then will retire to their hotel for an overnight stay in the city.

Day 03: Hyderabad- Nagarjunasagar

Your tour to the Lake City will then provide you an opportunity to visit Nagarjunsagar.  On this day guests will check- out of their hotel taking a three hours drive to Nagarjunsagar where guests will be accommodated at a hotel for an overnight stay.  The rest of the day will bring a sightseeing tour of the city starting from a visit to Anupu ruins, the Amphi- Theatre, Viharas and Chaityas and other mesmerizing Buddhist remains.  Spend the night at Nagarjunakonda.

Day 04: At Nagarjunasagar

Post breakfast on this day guests will board a boat for an illustrious excursion to the scenic Nagarjuna Konda Island Museum.  The place has a history of being a venue of Buddhist civilization and is blessed with the excavated ruins of the civilizations preserved carefully on an exquisite island called Nagarjuna Konda which is located in the middle of a man- made lake.  The day will be concluded with a drive back to Nagarjuna Sagar for an overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 05: Nagarjuna Sagar- Vijayawada

Your Lake City tour then will incorporate another voyage to the next destination- Vijayawada.  On the morning of this day guests will proceed to Vijayawada which will be a four hour’s drive which will include an en- route visit to Amaravathi Museum and Stupas.  At Vijayawada guests will be accommodated in a hotel for an overnight stay in the city.

Day 06: At Vijayawada

At Vijayawada the day will begin with an appetizing meal in the morning and will be followed by a tour to the city.  This city tour will begin with a tour to Bhattiprolu and Ghantasala Buddhist stupas and will be followed by a visit to Neelamkondapalli and Jagayapeta stupas which contains inscriptions from the Mauryan era and the exquisite Undavalli Caves.  Later return to the hotel where you will lodge for the night.

Day 07: Vijayawada- Hyderabad- Departure

The Lake City tour will be concluded on this day.  In the morning guests will be escorted to Hyderabad.  At Hyderabad guests will drive to the Airport where our representative will make all the arrangements for their comfortable and convenient flight back home with most pleasing memories of great vacations in South India.
